Bodrum Port Terminal
Existence in Mobility- Bodrum Port Terminal
Spring semester of 4th year studio is covering a port terminal in Bodrum. Issue about mobility in all senses are needed to be covered in the project. A terminal is always a space of mobility. Moreover, Bodrum is an important space in nowadays conditions: refugees who are forced to be mobile.
I prepared a video of our site visit in Bodrum however WordPress do not let me post it unless I pay money.
I will not.

The references of the existing hangars and buildings are marked all down in site. Those references will be the leading point for my project. Here we see that our site is surrounded with “capsules”, alienated structures all functioning on their own. Moreover, highways and railroad is also defining a boundary to our site. The references of the existing structures will be axes that I will use for collecting people to my structure.

This semesters project is called “Factory as a maker of Culture”. The given site is located next to Büyükşehir Belediyesi, is known as Ego Hangarları. It was once the place where Ego buses come to park, get repaired or fueled. Here is the very first analyze diagrams done.
